How long will the braids last with proper care? What is proper care?

With proper care and storage, the braids can continue to be reused! Inclement weather or heavy headbanging may reduce the lifespan of the braids. Every order includes a Care Card and You can refer to our Care page.

How do I attach or secure the braided ponytails to my natural hair?

Use the video and directions on our Attaching Your Braided Ponytails page.

Are the braids safe to wear in all weather conditions?

- Rain or high humidity may cause frizziness.

- High winds may cause the braids and/or charms to tangle.

- Headbanging generally safe 👍 but may cause frizziness or tangles.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Ready to ship items are shipped out by the next business day. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days and priority takes 1-2 business days.

Custom orders usually take about 7-10 business days to receive depending on holidays. If you enter a date in the Custom Order Form, we can (most of the time) ensure it is received by that date or let you know shortly if it is not possible.

Hey there, I'm Alice - the hands and heart behind AMushBetterLife! I'm a licensed cosmetologist turned full-time braid queen, obsessed with creating vibrant, head-turning braid sets for the EDM community. We live with our 3 cats, chasing festivals, good vibes and living the best life! I fell in love <3 with the EDM community back at my first festival, Griz's Space Camp 2022, and never looked back! Festivals became more than events -- they became a place where I felt seen, appreciated and heard. When I'm not working on braid sets, you'll probably find me binge watching the latest TV show, sketching some wild ideas on my iPad or dreaming up the next colorful creation of braids. I'm all about good vibes, personal connection, and helping others feel like their truest, boldest selves :)!
